Ticket #58 (new enhancement)

Description

This is useful if you want to use an EM client library, but cannot encapsulate your entire program inside an EM reactor. It seems to work for the most part, except some weirdness because the reactor calling rb_thread_*, even though its running inside a thread itself. Ideally the reactor would detect:

Thread.current != Thread.main

and avoid running the ruby thread scheduler.
